How Has The Range Rover Evoque Evolved Since Release?
The Range Rover Evoque is a tried-and-tested series within the luxury crossover SUV lines, produced by Range Rover. The first generation has been produced from 2011 to 2018, with the second generation of the Evoque line releasing in 2018.
Keen to get away from the sole image of Land and Range Rovers serving those who lived in rural areas exclusively, and interested in reducing carbon emissions alongside the bad PR that came with that, the new Ranger Rovers, and particularly the Evoque line, is geared to ensure roadworthiness and efficiency unlike all models of the past.
The LRX concept vehicle initially made use of a carbon composite roofing panel system, regenerative brakes, electric rear axle drive and a parallel hybrid powertrain system. This combination allowed for a safer, more efficient, more comfortable driving experience, and it afforded the Evoque the ability to drive just as nimbly and responsively as other vehicles in an urban environment.
The original Land Rover Evoques, released at the early part of the last decade, have gone through some worthwhile changes - justifying the release of the second generation. The new Evoque is 11mm longer than its predecessor, as well as being 6mm wider and 14mm taller. It’s design is more pronounced, with an increased boot space and 10% more loadspace. This emphasis on storage design is present in the smaller areas too, with an increased 4.5 litre centre storage space.

What Different Range Rover Evoque Options Are Available?
There are a few trims available for the Ranger Rover Evoque, helping you gain the exact feature kit you feel is most appropriate for you. These include:
Evoque S -with a beautiful feature set offering 18” 5-spoke wheels, and an interior offering a widescreen terminal to manage everything from rear camera and rear parking aids - you’re sure to both handle and appreciate your Evoque, inside and out. As standard, you can select from the 1.5 L 3-cylinder, the 2.0 L 4-cylinder diesel, and the 2.0 L4 cylinder engines as appropriate.
Evoque SE - One feature set above the S is the SE, with exterior lighting additions showcasing beautiful premium LED headlights. 20 inch tyres fit into the wheel arches beautifully, and the Touch Pro Duo system provides two 10 inch displays, helping you more clearly interface with your driving.
Evoque R-Dynamic S -If it’s performance you’re looking for, the R-Dynamic grants you an amazing 20L 4 cylinder engine that boasts close to 300 horsepower. There’s no reason why a modern 4x4 should make you feel any less in control of your time on the road.
Evoque R-Dynamic SE & HSE -If it’s substance and style you’re after, it’s hard to do better than the Evoque R-Dynamic SE or HSE. The former packs many features like 14 way grained leather electric seats. The latter offers 16-way perforated Windsor leather seats, and both have memory functions. These trims also offer more feature options, such as adaptive cruise control and high-speed emergency braking.
Evoque First Edition -The Evoque First Edition is the best of the best, with every single feature offered as standard, with extra style offerings such as a panoramic roof, as well as a duotone leather wheel and treadplates, branded stylishly.
