First released in 2003, the Mazda 3 was an instant hit, particularly amongst those looking for a compact, family saloon. Available in two styles, buyers can still pick up the first incarnation of the Mazda 3 as either a four-door coupe or a five-door hatchback, in addition to the performance-based Mazda 3 MPS.
Generations of the Mazda 3
Following its widespread popularity, the Mazda 3 was given a makeover prior to releasing the second-generation design in 2009. A sportier exterior gave the Mazda 3 a facelift, while the addition of rain-sensing wipers, bi-xenon headlights and dual-zone automatic climate control enhanced the interior on Grand Touring trim models too.
