The Volvo V40, originally introduced in 2013, was facelifted in 2016 to fit the look and feel of the larger Volvo models. Climate control, alloy wheels, DAB digital radio and a wide variety of safety systems are generously fitted with entry level V40 Momentum versions. For pedestrians, it even has a dedicated airbag.
The Volvo V40 comes as standard with a DAB radio, Bluetooth and a simple 5.0-inch colour display operated on the 'floating' dashboard via shortcut buttons. More costly trims, however, get an improved 7.0-inch screen and sat-nav, although this can also be added as an alternative to lesser trims.
