The Audi A3 range is versatile and comes in five different body types; 3 door A3, 5 door A3 Sportback, A3 Saloon, A3 Cabriolet and finally the A3 Sportback TFSI e. The Audi A3 range also features performance models of the S3 and RS3 which come in Sportback and Saloon.
The first generation of the Audi A3 was introduced in the UK in 1996 and was only available in a 3 door to create a sportier image. In 1999 more powerful versions of the model were introduced as well as introducing a 5 door body style. The five-door "Sportback" model was then introduced in June 2004 and the A3 cabriolet model was released in 2014. The most recent changes to this model was a facelift for the Audi A3 range which came around 2016, these changes brought more value and better looks to the previous older model.
