The Audi S3 was first introduced in 1999 as a 3 door hatchback and shortly after was given a facelift in 2002 which brought changes to the model such as minor upgrades to interior trim and different front wings. In 2006, Audi announced the second generation S3 which was offered in both 3 and 5 door body styles. Another facelift came to the S3 in 2008 which included changes such as a modified grille and daytime running lights. The latest S3 model was upgraded in 2013 and is now powered by a 2.0 L inline-four engine.
